Medium: TouchDesigner, Multichannel sound
Junction is a panoramic audiovisual installation built from generative visuals in close interaction with multichannel sound. Image and sound contribute to the construction of a constantly evolving environment, in which an algorithmic structure progressively generates forms, connections and landscapes.
An algorithm produces vertical and horizontal lines in random positions: the chaos of the universe. Points are born where the lines intersect, like stars in a night sky. As they progressively connect, these points form constellations and increasingly complex structures, generated through random encounters and therefore never entirely predictable.
These geometries become a metaphor for the paths of human destiny. Like the encounters and events that shape a life, each intersection changes what comes next and contributes to the formation of a unique and unpredictable pattern.
Through the continuous appearance and connection of these points, the plan and three-dimensional view of a landscape gradually emerge. Not a real territory, but a landscape generated by the relationships formed over time: the landscape of a life.
